Who can participate in the league?
Our league is open to youth girls ages 4–16, with divisions organized by age group to ensure fair play and safety.
How do I register my child?
Registration can be completed online through our website or in person at designated registration events. Please see our registration calendar for dates and deadlines.
What is the cost to play?
Registration fees are $65 and cover uniforms, equipment, and field maintenance.
When does the season start and end?
The fall season typically runs from September to November, and the spring season typically runs from March to May with practices beginning about two weeks before the first games.
How are teams formed?
Teams are formed based on age division, balancing experience and skill level as much as possible. A draft or player evaluation may be held before the season begins.
Where are practices and games held?
Practices and games take place at Jayce Park Softball Fields. Schedules are provided once teams are assigned.
How often are practices and games?
Most teams practice 1–2 times per week, with games scheduled 1–2 nights per week depending on the division.
What equipment does my child need?
Players should bring a glove, cleats, face masks , and a water bottle. Bats and helmets may be provided, but personal equipment is welcome if it meets league safety standards.
Can parents get involved?
Yes! We rely on volunteers for coaching, umpiring, field maintenance, and event support. If you’d like to help, please let us know at registration or email admin@agsaartesia.org
How can businesses or individuals sponsor the league?
Sponsorship opportunities are available and greatly appreciated. Sponsors help offset costs and ensure every child has the opportunity to play. For details, see the donation page on our website.
What happens if a game is rained out?
Rainouts will be communicated via text, email, or social media, and games will be rescheduled when possible.
